Being a member of the Hayes Players is fun. You don’t have to be an actor. Enthusiasm is all that it takes to become part of our team including acting, production, stage management, set design and construction, lighting, sound, costumes, and properties – as well as Associate Members to support the Society, to assist at performances (front of house) and to join in our social life. Why not come along and meet us. We are a very friendly and sociable group and we are always delighted to welcome new members.

Plays are cast by open audition (see audition dates) and are rehearsed for about eight weeks, usually on Mon/Wed/Fri evenings, at our rehearsal studio in George Lane, Hayes. See map.

We are always on the look out for backstage workers to help build and paint the sets, which we construct in our studio during the rehearsal period whilst the cast rehearse in the next room. Experience is not necessary – most of the work is simple woodwork and painting – but we are also looking for someone with experience in set design.

Full Acting Membership (£15 per year)
Entitles you to take part in all productions both on and off stage.

Student Membership (£2 per year)
Same as Full Acting Membership but you must be in full-time education.

Associate Membership (£7.50 per year)
This entitles you to assist at performances (front of house). You also get 50p off your ticket price on production nights.

All members will receive newsletters throughout the year.
